in the following areas:-
Customer care & Relationship,
Tour Operations and Tour Guiding,
Tourists Geography (Visit & study about tourists
Attractions)
Wildlife knowledge (Mammals, Botany, Reptiles and
Insects)
During their field attachment, trainees are
evaluated through the following components:-
Ø Punctuality- Do the trainees
arrive/participate on time?
Ø Appearance- Are they smart,
clean and appropriately dressed for a job?
Ø
Language Skills- Can they
understand and make them understand?
Ø Altitudes- Are they
friendly and cheerful, with good sense of humor?
Ø
Ability to cope under pressure- Do they respond appropriately
to difficult clients?
Ø
Initiative- Do they look out for interesting things to clients and come up with their
own ideas?
Ø General
knowledge- Do
they have an adequate knowledge of their basic course?
Ø
Translation skills- Do they convey
the correct message when mediating between community members and clients?
Ø Facilitation
skills- Can they bring about a
genuine dialogue between clients and community members giving each person a
chance to share their views?
Ø Physical
fitness- Are they able to cope with the whole program
without tiring?
